How to Provide Better Prompts and Yield Better Results with ChatGPT:

1. Think about the task at hand you want to prompt, and the process you would go through to perform such task. Do you follow any criteria, context, document, or branding material?

2. Add context to your prompt. I.E. “Generate 10 headline ideas for an AI Newsletter”

3. Add an objective to your prompt that should be accomplished “Generate 10 headline ideas for an AI Newsletter for a higher click-through rate”

4. Add other constraints such as characters “Generate 10 headline ideas for an AI Newsletter for a higher click-through rate with 20 characters maximum”

5. Train ChatGPT on previous answers or existing content by adding an example (or multiple) to your prompt. Make sure to properly label the example to be used. Ask ChatGPT to learn from the example, and follow its structure, or tone of voice for example when giving you the answer.

6. Play around styling the content such as “explain this like I am a business executive with little time to read”, or “explain like I’m 5”, adding business or branding documents, etc.
