How to Enable Plugins and Web Browsing for ChatGPT
These are beta features, accessible only to ChatGPT Plus users. Not only GPT-4 justifies the cost of a ChatGPT Plus account, but especially now with Plugins and Browsing available. So we recommend upgrading if you haven’t already.
Start by opening ChatGPT
On the bottom left corner of the screen, click on the three dots “…” next to your account’s email
Click on “Settings”
Within the popup, click on ‘Beta Features’.
Turn on the ‘Web browsing’ and ‘Plugin’
Close the Setting Tab and notice the change on your Chat Screen, now you can choose between GPT3.5 and GPT-4 on the top.
Select GPT-4 then Plugins or Browsing
To use Plugins, you will need to open the Plugin Store
Search for and Install the Plugin of your choice
